obama camaigns for deeds
The approved toon ready for print. This weekend I spent a good bit of time talking to some new liberal friends on the smirking chimp. I learned some things from them, I don’t know if they figured anything out from our conversation or not.
I went there to learn about far left views, and they do have some valid points. I also was pretty well verbally assaulted (to be expected when you go into enemy country, that seems to be the way they feel about conservatives) but tried to convince them that would not advance their argument.
I was a little surprised about their attack on Religion. One, even claimed to be a Marxist. Maybe that was the Change Mr Obama had in mind? it seems to be what this bunch wants.
There are two individuals (that I know of) on Obama’s staff who are fans of chairman Mao. Given the slant of this weekend’s blog trip to the Smirking Chimp, I think most of them lean more toward the ideas of shared wealth mandated from the State, than Capitalism.
Thus the pic of Chairman Mao in the color version. Remember the campaign posters of Mr Obama, with the word HOPE on them? They remind me of the Mao posters pasted around Red China.
